Koru & Calypso began with a shared love of bringing people together to celebrate meaningful moments.
Founded by Michelle, originally from New Zealand, and Richard, a UK-born Barbadian, the brand reflects a meeting of cultures, creativity, and island perspective.
The name reflects this balance — the koru, inspired by the unfurling fern, is a Māori symbol of new beginnings, growth, and harmony.
We work closely with a trusted network of local creatives, chefs, and suppliers — bringing together the very best of Barbados to create authentic, beautifully curated celebrations.
